Novel Treatments to Add to Your Therapy
When: Wednesday, April 10, 2024, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Where: WHIM at Stage 773: 1225 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60657

As new treatments become available, we want the community and practitioners to be informed about what they are and who these therapeutic options serve best.

We will be discussing the novel treatments: Ketamine assisted therapy (KAP), Psilocybin assisted therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), MDMA-assisted therapy, and Sound Healing. We will discuss how these treatments work, who good candidates for these treatments are, and how these treatments interact with prescribed medications and recovery programs. A sound bathing demonstration will follow the program.

This program is intended to provide an overview of these treatments for caseworkers, therapists, social workers, and individuals seeking more information about these options.

This workshop is free to attend in person or virtually. Registration is required. Please note that this program will be recorded.
