Monday, January 18th is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It is a national holiday and a national day of service—an opportunity for everyone to help make a difference in their communities. Although we’re not able to be together in person for now, you can still honor Dr. King’s legacy and make a difference in our community by supporting the work and mission of TPAN with a donation to our youth drop-in-center, the Tea Room

The Tea Room is a safe space for young adults (ages 18–29) to get help and find community. Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tea Room has been converted into a resource center where LGBTQ-identified young people can pick up bags of food, toiletry items, clothing, and winter essentials. The pandemic has effectively changed the Tea Room from a drop-in space to a grab 'n' go space. TPAN is distributing more supplies than ever before, reconfiguring the space and program to better serve our clients' needs while ensuring everyone’s safety.

When you give to TPAN, your gift has a profound impact. Consider how your support goes to work in the lives of the people we serve:

A gift of $75 helps provide
A week’s worth of healthy food and snacks
A month’s worth of hygiene and menstrual care products

A gift of $100 helps provide
Warm winter clothing and shoes
An individual session with a youth case manager
An HIV/STD testing and counseling session and testing kit

A $150 gift helps provide
Homeless LGBTQ youth with basic needs, such as meals, clothing, and support
A warm winter coat for financially struggling clients

$1,200 (or a gift of $100 per month)
Establishes you as a Leadership Circle supporter in helping TPAN provide healthcare and services to hundreds of vulnerable, LGBTQ-identifed youth a year

Your gift—at any amount that is meaningful to you—will go a long way to making sure TPAN can be here for our community’s most vulnerable members.
