Think you may have been exposed to HIV?

As an epidemic, HIV is spread by lack of information—1 in 8 individuals living with HIV in the US do not know they carry the virus. Not knowing your status can expose your sexual partners to infection. TPAN recommends that all individuals establish and stick to a regular testing schedule as part of their preventative healthcare and as a means of taking control of your sexual health. Encourage your regular partners to do the same—TPAN offers free couples testing with TPAN’s testing specialist.

Those who are sexually active should get tested for HIV every six months. Those who are very sexually active, or are members of a vulnerable population, should get tested every three months.

Visit our Get Tested section for more information about testing and what to do in the event of a positive and negative results.
